Must agree with the ajarn nut krub. I have been here for 7 months and have heard things both positive and negative about Japan and it`s people. On the positive side, Japanese people are very serious with their work and take pride of whatever they do, be it a bus driver or any kind of profession. They tend to be polite and humble, avoiding confrontation, hence ,the social harmony. However, to be able to fully understand Japan and its people, I think it is very important to make an effort to try to understand the language, their cultures and way of life. Some people who I`ve talked with kept complaining about never being accepted or being looked down upon。Maybe it all has to do with the language barrier which is HUGE.
If you are really interested in coming to Japan, do keep in mind that it will not be easy, and it is not the place for the weakest of heart and determination, otherwise, you would be coming to Japan but not really getting anything out of it. Just my thoughts.
